Laura Silverman takes us on an exploration of ceremony in July’s Spirit Lab. We will enter sacred ceremony with Cacao and a sound journey.

A Mayan legend tells us that whenever there is an imbalance between humans and nature, cacao comes from the rainforest to open people’s hearts and return the planet to a state of harmony. Some shamans, therefore, consider cacao the 'food for the shift.' It represents the new order of love and peace, which is being cultivated right now. This session is being conducted in advance of a full moon. Mayans treated this as a period for culmination, illumination, connection and unity, creativity, and release and renewal. You are invited to focus on any one or all of these lunar energies as you imbibe ceremonial cacao within a rich healing soundscape.

Laura Silverman, psychotherapist and psychonaut, has been practicing spiritual psychology and transpersonal psychology since 2011. She completed a year of shamanic training in 2019, Reiki training in 2023. She has been working with a medicine woman in Mexico since 2021 and offers psilocybin assisted therapy retreats there, combining wisdom of traditional plant medicines with modern science to help individuals grow all aspects of themselves.
